John Depew - Director
Mr. Depew got his start in community theatre with such
notable parts as Matthew Brady in "Inherit the Wind" and Robert in "Proof" and
about a dozen more.
He has won two
EMACT awards for
acting. He has about 20 Independent films to his credit. His most notable
performances include "Norma's Scent" and "Terminal Conversation." Both films
did well winning at several Film festivals.
"CO2" is John Depew's
second film as director. His first film was "27 Down" which he also co-wrote
and produced and the film is currently being reviewed by several distributors.
"CO2" marks the second time John Depew and Adam Starr have worked
together as Director and Director of Photography. It's rare when two very
distinct personalities can work so well together, but it just seems to happen.
Once asked which gave him greater joy, acting or directing, he replied
"My biggest joy is finding talented individuals and feeling that I played a
small part in helping them grow as accomplished actors."
When not
making films John is the founder & CEO of Bradford Medical Associates.
